I was having trouble imagining exactly how to make them though so I did a google search and found this nice tutorial on how to make a t-shirt bag.Jeannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11704564414066998644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-766882701166934144.post-22631308726477614982007-10-15T07:28:00.000-07:002007-10-15T07:28:00.000-07:00Another trick is to recycle old T-shirts you no lo...Another trick is to recycle old T-shirts you no longer want/need by cutting a big rectangle from the bottom edge, folding it in half and sewing up the 2 unhemmed edges, leaving the hemmed bottom of the shirt as the top/opening of the bag. Easy enough to do by hand, takes about 90 seconds with a sewing machine.Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09370315616024269783noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-766882701166934144.post-83969149491225074442007-10-14T09:26:00.000-07:002007-10-14T09:26:00.000-07:00Thanks for the ideas, Wendy. For produce bags, though, I think it would be pretty tough to find something similar in the thrift stores (at least where I live). But it's possible, I suppose :)Jeannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11704564414066998644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-766882701166934144.post-49017489228377324272007-10-13T20:33:00.000-07:002007-10-13T20:33:00.000-07:00Instead of ordering new bags, look at your local t...Instead of ordering new bags, look at your local thrift shop or at garage sales. You can easily find canvas shopping bags with lots of life left in them. Also, bring canning jars or other jars to your bulk store. You can weigh (tare) them before filling them so they can calculate how much you're buying.

Great thing you're doing here!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08505240513694102517noreply@blogger.com
